Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Manufacturing Engineer - Detail Planner to join our proactive and innovative team.
Responsibilities
- Create engineering instructions from design definitions directly linked to the production process as a Detail Planning Engineer.
- Independently develop instructions while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and quality of the engineering methods and Bill of Materials.
- Produce relevant department documentation such as Routings, BoMs, and Manufacturing Instructions.
- Manage implementation and control of changes to the product.
- Perform non-complex project reporting and scheduling.
- Provide informal technical support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Contribute to developing department processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Handle administrative tasks using Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
- Liaise with other technical departments as necessary.

- Apply problem-solving techniques to routine and moderately complex situations under supervision.
- Work within standardized procedures, ensuring task accuracy.
- Gather information and data to support build processes.
- Plan and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Identify issues within their area of responsibility based on sufficient experience.
Experience
- Understanding of manufacturing processes used within the business.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.
- Access and apply Quality and HS&E Management System documentation, obeying all relevant rules and control measures.
- Knowledge of business processes and procedures.
- Experience working with SAP and PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter).
- Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders.
