Job summary

Sanderson Plc in Peterborough is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical guidance across Assembly and Final Assembly. The role will drive productivity, efficiency, and cost improvements while supporting new product introductions from initiation to delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design processes, PFMEA, control plans, and standard work, ensuring safe, compliant operations and robust documentation.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Client: Industry leading engineering/manufacturing company

Location: Peterborough

Hourly Rate: £29.03 PAYE or £38.16 Umbrella

Duration: 12 months

Working arrangements: Fully site based

About the Role:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on manufacturing projects across Assembly and Final Assembly, supporting productivity, efficiency, cost improvements and successful product introduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver process design, PFMEA, control plans, standard work and documentation.
• Support manufacturing improvement, development and New Product Introduction projects from initiation through to implementation, managing scope, resources, timing and delivery.
• Develop and implement process improvements, ensuring safe installation, robust operation and compliance with quality, safety and customer requirements.
