Job summary

A Manufacturing Engineer role at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Omagh is an excellent opportunity to drive manufacturing improvements in a modern facility. You will focus on productivity, quality, and the introduction of new products and technologies across the business.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead Lean projects, work with production, quality, maintenance and design teams, and help ensure health, safety and quality standards are met while developing strong process

Qualifications

  • Degree or HND in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production engineering environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting production processes and implementing improvements.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to drive productivity and quality improvements.

  • Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Carry out process capability studies and production line optimisation.
  • Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and design teams.
  • Support capital equipment projects and process improvements.
  • Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.

A well-established and highly successful manufacturing organisation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing engineering team. Your New Role

Mon - Thurs 7am - 5pm and Fri 2pm
