Job summary

Fuller Technologies seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support a Northampton facility. The role focuses on MBOMs, CAD modeling, fixture creation, outsourcing, process development, and continuous improvement initiatives for assembly and machining operations.

The successful candidate will develop manufacturing documentation and drive improvements to safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance. Collaboration with production teams and cross-functional partners is essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered
  • Prior manufacturing experience in a machining or production environment
  • Experience with Machining processes
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Fusion 360 a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft D365 and Microsoft Office applications preferred
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to learn and develop new skills

Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Fusion 360 and other CAD/CAM software
  • Support machining operations by developing efficient manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixturing solutions
  • Troubleshoot machining, programming, tooling, and production issues on the manufacturing floor
  • Create and maintain 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Assist with Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) creation, maintenance, and updates
  • Develop and standardize detailed work instructions and manufacturing documentation
  • Provide input into the design and sequence of production operations
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturability and operational performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduce costs, improve quality, and increase productivity
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with company standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

About The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support our manufacturing facility in Northampton, PA. This role will focus heavily on, assisting with Manufacturing BOM's, 3D CAD modeling, Fixture Creation, Outsourcing, manufacturing process development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting assembly and machining operations, developing manufacturing documentation, and driving improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with manufacturing teams, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

What You Bring
