Job description

Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) (£38 /hour, 37 hours per week). This role is inside IR35 and will be contracted via an umbrella company.

Responsibilities
  • Project planning and communication with stakeholders.
  • Installation of plant and equipment.
  • Refurbishment of building services / modernization:
    • Electrical, wiring and switchgear
    • Data connections
    • Comfort F‑Gas
    • Plumbed services – potable water, compressed air, gas, sprinklers
  • Produce drawings and designs of future layouts to scope and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate factory installation projects, from design, feasibility, CAPEX, implementation, to final review/sign‑off.
  • Documentation control for transformation and compliance activities.
  • Contractor coordination, supplier selection and oversight (EH&S, RAMS, and review of progression) and final sign‑off of works.
Qualifications
  • Previous project management experience within a FM environment.
  • Knowledge of contractor management.
  • Awareness of building regulations.
Desirable Skills
  • CITB SMSTSS.
  • IOSH Working Safely / Managing Safely.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D / AutoCAD LT).
  • Lean / Continuous improvement training.
  • Understanding of current IEE Electrical Regulations.
  • Asbestos Awareness.
  • IWFM membership.
  • PASMA / IPAF.
  • Wiring Regulations 18th edition (preferably).
