Job summary

Kingdom Services Group in Havant is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve production and test processes and to deliver operational improvements across the site. You'll work with production, quality, maintenance and engineering teams to identify opportunities, solve manufacturing challenges and ensure efficient, reliable production.

I'm recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Havant. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of projects, from improving production and test processes to supporting new product introductions and delivering operational improvements across the site.

The Role

You’ll work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for improvement, solve manufacturing challenges, and help deliver efficient, reliable production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing and test processes to enhance quality and productivity.


• Support new product introductions and ensure a smooth transition into production.


• Lead continuous improvement activities using lean manufacturing techniques.


• Manage engineering and capital investment projects.


• Maintain process documentation, production standards, and manufacturing data.


• Drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and overall operational performance.

What We're Looking For

• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.


• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, process, or product engineering environment.


• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.


• Experience delivering process improvements and solving manufacturing problems.


• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
