Manufacturing Engineer Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead.

This position will be responsible for:

  1. Providing support for manufacturing processes on site including Industrial Robot Cells, CNC, EDM, Waterjet, and Production Gauging.
  2. Supporting manufacturing to improve existing processes.
  3. Qualifying new products on existing manufacturing equipment, both internally and with the customer.
  4. Developing automated manufacturing processes.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Create, verify, and release programs for CNC, CMM, EDM & Waterjet Machines.
  2. Create, verify, and release robot programs for automated cells.
  3. Design and deliver tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
  4. Develop and implement new advanced manufacturing equipment and automation.
  5. Support justification of capital funding requests.
  6. Reduce costs and improve current manufacturing techniques.
  7. Create supporting documentation for CNC, EDM, Waterjet, Automated operations, and Production Gauges (SOP and EMS).
  8. Support the identification and implementation of new manufacturing technology.
  9. Manage program storage, data backups, and revision control for manufacturing equipment.
