Manufacturing Engineer – FMCG Manufacturing

The Role

Are you a hands-on Continuous Improvement or Manufacturing Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment?

This role focuses on leading packaging trials, process optimisation and automation improvements across a high-volume manufacturing operation. You’ll work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Product Development to improve performance, efficiency and cost across production assets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and executing line trials and implementation projects
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing assets
• Ensuring packaging compatibility with automation and production equipment
• Supporting new product introductions (NPI) into manufacturing
• Improving efficiency, reducing waste and optimising configurations
• Supporting new equipment introductions, FAT testing and validation
• Troubleshooting packaging and production-related challenges
• Championing GMP, quality and safety standards

About You

• Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing
• Strong CI mindset (Lean, OEE improvement, waste & cost reduction)
• Comfortable leading factory trials and cross-functional projects
• Self-motivated, analytical and solutions-focused
