Responsibilities include developing manufacturing processes for aerospace components, supporting production staff, and maintaining rigorous documentation while complying with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing engineering role, aerospace experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace components.
  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure value-added engineering.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.
  • Utilise lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Create and maintain documentation including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Monitor and analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Provide technical support to production staff.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process improvements.

Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimising manufacturing processes with our current portfolio, ensuring the highest quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace components.

  • Collaborate with customers and cross functional teams to ensure value add engineering is applied to all our product

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.

  • Utilise lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

  • Monitor and analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.

  • Provide technical support to production staff.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process improvements.
