Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace) in Fareham, England, on a PAYE contract until February 2027. 37 hours per week, early finish Friday.

You'll join a collaborative engineering team supporting Assembly & Test operations and work on complex aerospace products to improve processes, quality and compliance. You will implement LAIRS and FAIR, resolve production issues, and work with Production, Quality and Engineering to drive improvements while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
• Understanding of LAIRS and FAIR processes.
• Experience in aerospace Assembly & Test environments.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with manufacturing process development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Support Assembly & Test operations across aerospace products.
• Create, maintain and improve manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Implement and manage LAIRS and FAIR activities.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing and production issues.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering to drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement to increase efficiency and quality.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting Assembly & Test operations across a range of aerospace products


• Creating, maintaining and improving manufacturing processes and work instructions


• Implementing and managing LAIRS and FAIR activities


• Identifying and resolving manufacturing and production issues


• Working closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to drive improvements


• Ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements


• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality


• Providing technical support and guidance to production teams

What You'll Bring
