Job summary

Elite Hire is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer in the Coventry area to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

You will lead lean initiatives, write work instructions, and coordinate with quality, maintenance and production teams to meet targets. A hands-on, practical engineer with CAD/lean experience will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years as a manufacturing, production or process engineer.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and problem-solving tools.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Hands-on, practical approach and confidence on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Improve production processes to raise output and cut waste, scrap and downtime.
