Base pay range

At Safran Electrical & Power, we recognise that aviation needs to innovate and change in order to protect our environment. We believe that future aircraft power systems will be hybrid-electric or full-electric, which is why we are working to develop and deliver advanced electrical solutions to help decarbonise flight.

The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.

Position: Assembler/Manufacturing Technician/Machine Operator

Location: Pitstone, Tring, Hertfordshire

Salary: £33,225 per annum + 14.5% Shift allowance

Shift Pattern

Week 1:

Monday to Thursday: 6.00am to 2.00pm

Friday: 6.00am to 11.00am

Week 2:

Monday to Thursday: 2.00pm to 10.00pm

Friday: 11.00am to 4.00pm

Note: This shift pattern attracts a 14.5% shift premium on basic salary.

We welcome candidates with experience in repairs, manufacturing, or repairs of engineering products. This role offers opportunities to develop a career in Aerospace, working on exciting products.

The Role:
  • Setting and operating machines to set programs
  • Following engineering drawings and work instructions to assemble products
  • Operating machinery per standard procedures
  • Experience in stripping, surveying, and fitting for generators and motors
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Skills:

If you have experience in quality inspection or manual/CNC machining, we are interested in speaking with you. We seek candidates with a range of skills and experience, and are eager to help you grow and develop in this role. Ability to lift up to 25kg and some technical skills are required.
