Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Manual Turner for a client in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. You will operate manual turning machines, work on 1-offs and small batches, and read engineering drawings with minimal supervision.

The role requires apprentice training and the ability to work under pressure in a busy jobbing shop environment. Day shift, 7:30am–4:00pm, with overtime paid at time and a half.

Manual Turner

We are recruiting for a manual turner to work for our client who are located in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES:

• Manual Turning machines
• Working in a jobbing shop environment on 1 offs and small batches
• Must be able to read engineering drawings and work with minimum supervision
• Vertical boring experience would be an advantage

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

• Apprentice trained
• Must be able to read engineering drawings and work with minimum supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

THE HOURS:

Day Shift

Monday to Friday 7.30am -4.00pm

THE PAY

You will earn an hourly rate of 17.75 / overtime paid at time + half
