Position: PMLD/ALN Teaching Assistant

Location: Neath Port Talbot

Start date: ASAP

The School and Role

The role of a level 1 ALN Teaching Assistant involves working with children with a variety of ALN needs. This role requires a highly motivated, adaptable, committed, enthusiastic, and resilient teaching assistant with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting the Teacher. Experience working with young people with Additional Learning Needs is essential. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that adopts a child-centred approach to ensure each pupil achieves their potential.

Requirements

• Manual Handling qualification
• Level 1 minimum qualification
• Experience working with children and young people with PMLD
• Experience working with pupils with ALN
• A passion for the progress of pupils with ALN
• Ability to work as part of a team
