Equal Education Partners is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants across South West Wales. If you are passionate about supporting children in their educational journey, this role is for you! You will work in a school environment where teamwork and communication are essential. Your responsibilities include assisting primary school teachers in delivering lessons and helping students reach their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Helping to prepare classroom materials and resources
  2. Assisting students during lessons and providing 1:1 support as needed
  3. Encouraging students to engage with learning while fostering a positive classroom atmosphere
  4. Supporting the teacher in managing classroom behaviour effectively

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting
  • A positive and friendly demeanour that encourages learning
  • Good communication skills for collaboration with teachers and staff
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) in Wales or willingness to register
  • Valid UK Right to Work
