Job summary

David Lewis Centre is seeking an experienced Manual Handling Assessor Trainer to join our Learning & Development team. You will deliver engaging training across services, assess competency and coach colleagues to build confidence and competence in safe, person-centred moving and handling practice.

The role involves hands-on coaching, supporting managers, and working with therapists and operations to ensure regulatory compliance and best practice. Salary is competitive.

Qualifications

• Holds an accredited Manual Handling Trainer qualification.
• Experience delivering moving and handling training within health, social care, education or residential settings.
• Able to assess competency and provide constructive feedback.
• Understands person-centred approaches and least restrictive practice.
• Experience using hoists, slings, transfer aids and specialist equipment.

Manual Handling Assessor Trainer

Salary: £32,959 - £36,621 per annum.

At David Lewis, we're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Manual Handling Assessor Trainer to join our Learning & Development team and help shape safe practice across our organisation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys coaching, developing and supporting colleagues. You'll be out and about across our services, helping teams build the skills, confidence and competence needed to deliver safe, person-centred support.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be responsible for:
