Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives across the UK. You will work with direct labour and sub-contract teams, setting up traffic management, monitoring live sites and ensuring safety compliance.

Ideal candidates hold Lantra traffic management qualifications, have a valid UK driving licence, and can pass drugs and alcohol checks. Right to work in the UK is required and you may progress to qualified roles with experience.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications required.
• Must pass Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in the UK essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence with up to 6 points required.

Responsibilities

• Set up temporary traffic lights and manage traffic flow at work sites.
• Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings where required.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Report defects and incidents to site or operations manager.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and vehicle checks.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

All Candidates must have experience in one or more of the below positions:

• Streetworks Operative
  

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
  Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
