Mandarin Speaking IT Infrastructure Manager - What You'll be Doing:

• Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of IT rooms, SAN storage, tape backup, AS400 systems, x86 platform systems, database, anti-virus systems, and all supporting facilities and application systems within the department. Tasks include daily system monitoring, maintenance, change management, capacity management, data management, IT service management, incident and failure management, and emergency management.
• Lead IT projects, including budgeting, planning, business request analysis, proposing and reviewing technical solutions, supervising implementation, and examining project delivery.
• Establish and renew IT specifications related to AS400 systems, x86 platform systems, databases, SAN, tape backup, anti-virus systems, IT rooms, supporting facilities, and online devices.
• Propose implementation procedures to Management according to Head Office policies and IT Centre requirements.
• Assess security risks of systems, IT rooms, and devices; propose and execute security risk control solutions. Responsible for designing and maintaining contingency plans, conducting annual disaster recovery and contingency testing.
• Research new technologies and products, and design technical solutions for the ongoing development of the IT Centre.

Mandarin Speaking IT Infrastructure Manager - Skills Needed to Succeed:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Certificates such as SSCP, MCSA, RHCE, CCNP are preferred.
• Experience in system administration (Windows Server, Linux).
• Experience with virtual technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience managing IT rooms and devices.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of IT principles, database operations, and management.
• Knowledge of Information Security, Cyber Security, and GDPR.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Team player.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
