Job summary

People First seeks a Mandarin-speaking IT Junior Engineer for a fully office-based role in the UK. You will perform IT infrastructure management, asset control, disaster recovery and network oversight, working under the Deputy Head of IT and collaborating with the IT Infrastructure Manager to ensure compliant, reliable services.

Key duties include server room management, virtualization, vendor liaison and security reviews, with start ASAP for a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Experience with IT infrastructure planning and virtualization platforms.
• Strong knowledge of server, network and storage administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure, operations, assets and disaster recovery tasks.
• Coordinate with IT Infrastructure Manager to ensure smooth IT services and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain security reviews and ensure core network and desktops have appropriate security levels.
• Draft IT manuals, procedures and guidelines for production management.
