Job summary

Sumo Digital Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking an External Producer to liaise with clients across China and Asia, with hybrid work from Sheffield or remote UK. You will manage multi-project production, nurture partnerships, and extend Sumo’s co‑development and art services capabilities.

Fluent Mandarin is essential; Cantonese is a plus. You will lead production, negotiating with partners and aligning with BD and studio leadership to drive growth in Asia.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) is essential; Cantonese is advantageous.
• Significant production experience shipping titles with external partners and co‑development teams.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and advise across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project and production management, including budgets, scheduling, risk management and conflict resolution.
• Confident communicator representing Sumo’s strategies with a wide partner and client portfolio.
• Champion and market Sumo’s services alongside Business Development and studio leadership.
• Investigate potential partnerships, support onboarding and act as production/client liaison when required.
• Navigate and resolve issues to ensure excellent partner experience throughout development.
