Job summary

Fairmead Managed Services LTD is recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor for a permanent, site-based role in Weybridge, Surrey. You will lead the commercial team on a major infrastructure project, owning the NEC4 contract (Option A) and directing CVRs, cash flow, risk and opportunities, with regular reporting to the Commercial Manager.

The ideal candidate has proven senior QS experience with a civils contractor, a Quantity Surveying degree or HNC, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a commercial team on a main or civils contractor project.
• NEC4 Option A experience is essential.
• Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial team on the Weybridge project, including monthly CVRs and cash flow management.
• Own the NEC4 contract with the client and the subcontract strategy beneath it.
• Report to the Commercial Manager on commercial performance and risk.

Fairmead are currently recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis on behalf of our client, a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, for a long-term scheme in Weybridge.

Overview of role

• Location: Weybridge, Surrey
• Salary: £70,000 to £90,000 plus package
• Permanent, site-based on a major infrastructure project
• Leading the commercial team on the project — managing a team of QSs, monthly CVRs, cash flow, risk and opportunity, and reporting to the Commercial Manager
• Owning the NEC4 contract with the client, and the subcontract strategy beneath it

Requirements

• Proven Managing or Senior QS experience with a main or civils contractor, with a track record of running a commercial team
• NEC4 Option A experience essential
• Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Full UK driving licence
