M Group Energy is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor based at its Westhill office, covering overhead-line projects for SSE around Aberdeen. The surveyor will support commercial reporting and claims, maintain risk registers and manage supplier and subcontractor matters.

Financial forecasts and records will inform discussions with project managers and the commercial team. The employer expects compliance with its procedures and safety, environmental and quality requirements. Applicants need a quantity surveying qualification and graduate-level capability, together with experience in quantity surveying or cost administration.

The advert asks for knowledge of contract costing, NEC3 or NEC4, subcontract management and cost-value reconciliation. Electrical transmission or overhead-line knowledge is preferred. A full UK driving licence is required, with willingness to travel and stay away when necessary.
