Balfour Beatty plc is seeking two Managing Quantity Surveyors for the NZT project, with roles based in Redcar, Leeds or Newcastle upon Tyne. The position combines three days on-site with two days remote work and will involve travel to Redcar as required.
Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in contracts and cost control for large infrastructure projects, be chartered or close to membership of RICS, and demonstrate leadership within the commercial team.

We are looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor who has significant experience in managing contracts and costs relating to infrastructure and civil engineering projects. Someone who actively seeks to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality for our clients.
Typically, a Managing Quantity Surveyor will be chartered or in the final stages of achieving professional membership of the RICS (or equivalent) and will be a peer role model for those less experienced members of the commercial team.
