We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of this nationally significant infrastructure project based in Redcar and Cleveland.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the commercial team, managing costs, maximising value for money, and ensuring projects are delivered to the required standards of quality, performance and compliance.
This is a project-based role operating under a flexible working arrangement, with 3 days on site and 2 days working remotely.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in commercial management within the construction or infrastructure sector.
You will have experience managing costs, contracts and stakeholder relationships, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider project team.
Experience managing or mentoring junior commercial staff, including Apprentice, Trainee, Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyors, would be highly desirable.
You will also be committed to maintaining your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and progressing your professional qualifications where required.
