Job summary

Arcus FM Limited is seeking a Managing Engineer for the Shutters & Gates Engineering sector in Greater London. You will lead a team of S&G Engineers, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is completed on time and safely.

You will manage an on-call rota and coordinate cover to meet service levels. Applicants should have City & Guilds in mechanical or electrical engineering, with supervisory experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable management/supervisory experience (essential).
• Experience in a high pressured mobile working environment (essential).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to supervise engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the S&G team, act as daily point of contact and develop colleagues to deliver high customer service.
• Provide technical support and training to the field team and wider business.
• Manage day-to-day staffing including on-call rota and cover.
