Job summary

Arcus FM Limited in Cambridge is seeking an experienced industrial shutter door engineer to service and repair shutters and automatic gates across Sainsbury’s and other retail sites. You’ll diagnose faults, achieve first-time fixes to SLA, and contribute to surveys and technical reports.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, CSCS, IPAF/PASMA, and the ability to work autonomously in a pressurised environment with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining shutters/doors in retail or facilities management.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills for industrial doors and gates.
• Ability to complete surveys and technical reports and support audits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Sainsbury’s and other retail shutters and automatic gates; achieve first-time fix to Service Level.
• Diagnose faults, identify required specialist support, and escalate when necessary.
• Represent Arcus with professional conduct and maintain company vehicle and dress code.
