Job summary

Datatech Analytics is seeking a Managing Consultant to build and lead its Energy & Utilities data science offering. You will join the management team to shape propositions, lead delivery and drive outcomes for major energy and infrastructure clients.

You will guide complex data challenges, apply ML and OR techniques, and mentor teams while expanding the client base through strategic relationships. Hybrid working and industry-leading career development are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science leadership and/or consulting in energy, utilities or infrastructure.
• Proven track record leading AI and advanced analytics from design to scale.
• Senior stakeholder network across energy, utilities, infrastructure or data/tech sectors.
• Commercial acumen with experience selling analytical propositions.
• MSc or PhD in data science, mathematics, OR, physics or statistics.
• Hands-on credibility with Python, SQL, Databricks, PySpark, Palantir Foundry or R.

We're partnering with a leading management and technology consultancy to hire a Managing Consultant. You'll build and lead its Energy & Utilities data science offering, working on complex challenges across energy, utilities and critical national infrastructure.

• Coach and grow the team through technical leadership

What we're looking for:

• 10+ years in data science leadership and/or consulting, ideally in energy, utilities or infrastructure
• Track record leading AI, advanced analytics and data capability from design through to scale
• Senior stakeholder network across energy, utilities, infrastructure or the data and technology industry
• Commercial acumen: you have developed and sold analytical propositions
• Degree, MSc or PhD in data science, mathematics, OR, physics or statistics
• Hands-on credibility with Python, SQL, Databricks, PySpark, Palantir Foundry or R

Security:

British Citizenship or 5+ years' continuous UK residency required.
