Your Role

As an AI Regulation & Governance Consultant, you will lead our trusted AI initiatives, leveraging your extensive background in data, AI, regulation, and compliance. You will drive the development and implementation of AI frameworks emphasizing safety, transparency, fairness, robustness, and ethics. This leadership role involves strategic guidance, stakeholder collaboration, and establishing AI governance best practices within the organization.

You will manage responsibilities including:

  1. Developing frameworks and processes for ethical AI governance.
  2. Establishing governance throughout the AI development lifecycle.
  3. Creating technical assurance methods to ensure compliance with industry, government regulations, and client ethics policies, including familiarity with global AI regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).
  4. Engaging with stakeholders such as government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry groups.
  5. Representing the company in AI ethics discussions and promoting responsible AI.
  6. Contributing to assets and propositions on AI regulation and governance.
  7. Upskilling our teams on the latest AI regulation advancements.

You will also have opportunities to contribute to business development, internal initiatives, and personal growth activities, including proposal development, thought leadership, training, and certifications.

We seek candidates with consulting experience in sectors such as Transport, Energy, Utilities, Government, Defence, Consumer Products & Retail, Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Financial Services.

Your Profile
  • Current experience in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background, demonstrating success in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience in proposition building and delivery.
  • Proven leadership in AI regulation and governance from industry, government, or professional services.
  • Deep expertise in AI strategy, data governance, machine learning, and ability to produce technical documentation.
  • Strategic guidance skills for senior leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with government, industry, and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex AI and regulatory concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Commitment to continuous learning in AI governance.

All applicants must be eligible for UK security clearance at SC level.
