Job summary

Rockfish Sidmouth is seeking a Manager in Training to back the General Manager in creating an energetic, high‑standard dining environment. You will motivate and train the team, leading by example to uphold our Care, Community and Connection values.

You will benefit from a structured training plan and ongoing development, with the chance to supervise service, including alcohol, and grow into a leadership role within our coastal restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Server or Supervisor in a similar restaurant environment.
• Flexible approach to working hours, able to support the business at peak times.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in creating an environment where the team is inspired to care about what they do through motivating, training and leading by example.
• Coach the team to fulfil their full potential and embrace the Rockfish core values: Care, Community and Connection.
• Lead a structured training plan and develop skills for a fulfilling career with Rockfish.

The Role

As Manager in Training, you will support the General Manager in creating a restaurant environment where the team is inspired to care about what they do through motivating, training and leading by example all the way.

You will coach your team to fulfil their full potential ensuring you and your team embrace our core values, 'Care, Community and Connection'.

As a new Rockfish Manager in Training, you will be supported by a structured training plan, and we continuously develop your skills for a fulfilling career with us.

Will be required to supervise the serving of alcohol.

Requirements

You will be required to have at least one years’ experience as a Server or at Supervisor level in a similar restaurant environment.

You will have a flexible approach to working hours, able to support the business when it’s at its busiest.
