Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth functioning of client projects, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Drive the adoption and adherence to a globally consistent PSA process, ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate and optimize the performance and utilization of technical consultants within projects, providing guidance and support for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address project issues, facilitate solution development, and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist in scoping, estimation, and qualification of Statements of Work (SOW), working closely with the SOW team to align project objectives and resources.
  • Liaise with the PMO and Operation teams to streamline project implementation, billing processes, and resource management.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to drive project success and enhance team effectiveness.

Job Title: Manager, Implementation Services
Possible locations: Reading, United Kingdom (Hybrid)
Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Work Schedule: Primarily aligned with local regional office hours, with flexibility to accommodate customer, project, and team needs across time zones.
Salary Range Disclosure:

The expected salary range for this position is £85,000 - £110,000 per annum. Compensation decisions are made in alignment with our compensation philosophy and are based on a variety of factors, including market data, experience, and skills. This role may also be eligible for additional incentive compensation and benefits, where applicable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of client projects, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field with 10+ years similar industry experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in a Professional Services environment, with a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, committed to building and maintaining positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, with the ability to leverage technology to streamline processes and drive productivity.
  • Ability to utilize engineering vision and logic to support the team efficiently by providing them with the correct advice and direction, ensuring projects are executed with precision and excellence.
