Manager, Clinical Science Analytics & Insights

Precision for Medicine is seeking a Manager to lead our Clinical Science Analytics & Insights team. This role can be fully remote within the UK, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, or Serbia.

Position Summary:

The Manager, Clinical Science Analytics & Insights (CSAI) oversees the management and development of CSAI personnel. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert (SME) supporting departmental initiatives, business development, best practices, and training to enhance quality and productivity. The manager will independently lead, manage, and motivate a team of CSAI staff and/or consultants, ensuring resources are effectively allocated and equipped for success. Additionally, the role focuses on career development to reduce turnover and boost employee satisfaction.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of direct reports and departmental initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Developing direct reports through goal setting, performance reviews, and mentoring
  • Overseeing onboarding and training to ensure role consistency
  • Communicating strategic direction and supporting goal achievement, career planning, and development
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, SOPs, and regulations
  • Retaining high-quality CSAI staff
  • Participating in the CSAI management team and supporting departmental KPIs
  • Supporting project and financial management activities
  • Providing departmental expertise and fostering cross-functional communication
  • Developing and updating policies and processes
  • Preparing reports and supporting risk management
  • Addressing complex challenges related to people and processes
  • Optimizing systems and processes for quality and efficiency
  • Supporting resource allocation and forecasting
  • Engaging in business development activities, including proposals and bid defenses
  • Participating in meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contributing to process improvement and operational solutions
  • Collaborating on training initiatives and SOP development
  • Consulting with project teams on project issues
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a science or health-related field, with proficiency in medical terminology
  • At least 8 years of clinical research experience or equivalent competencies
  • Strong experience in oncological clinical trials, including on-site monitoring or data review
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience managing CRAs, including developing training programs and evaluation processes

Other Requirements:

  • Experience with electronic data capture systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical degree or related qualification (RN, OCN, RPH, PharmD, etc.)
  • Experience with database build and data visualization software (e.g., JReview)
  • Knowledge of FDA, ICH-GCP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills
  • Understanding of clinical trial methodologies and protocols
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and apply financial management skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
