Job description

Job Title: Manager - Life Consulting, Actuarial

Location: London, Edinburgh, Bristol – Hybrid working patterns (2 days in the office, flexibility with days)

About Us: Fantastic opportunity with a globally recognised brand. This company gives you the autonomy and control of your own diary. Working on a variety of different projects both UK wide and internationally.

You will be involved in leading project teams and managing client engagements across key areas such as IFRS 17 impact assessment and implementations, finance transformations, mergers and acquisitions, and providing actuarial expertise to support Audit colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide actuarial expertise to support finance transformation initiatives.
  • Assist companies undertaking mergers and acquisitions.
  • Support companies with their Capital modelling and new entrant BPA providers.
  • Provide technical input to a number of projects and draft reports and presentations.
  • Develop comprehensive Pricing and Valuation models from scratch.
  • Lead foundational work for major model transformations and AI-driven projects.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Newly Qualified Actuary.
  • Experience within a Life Actuarial function or life consultancy.
  • Technical and communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to deal with senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Strong coaching skills to develop the capabilities of junior team members.
  • Project and people management abilities.
