Job summary

Vospers, a family-run motor dealer group in the Southwest, is seeking a Management Graduate to support growing the Parts business across Retail, Trade and Internal Operations. Based in Marsh Mills, Plymouth, you will rotate through parts divisions to gain broad exposure and develop financial acumen.

The role requires graduates in finance or accounting with a clean driving licence, full-time hours, and a starting salary of £30,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Graduate experience in the Finance or accounting arena.
• Clean driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Work with parts management to develop skills within the business unit.
• Rotate through each section of the parts business to understand operations.
• Present ideas and findings to reporting group manager and Group Director after each section.
• Grasp sales, marketing and financial performance of the division.
• Attend weekly and monthly Sales, Marketing, Inventory and financial meetings.
• Meet regular stakeholders including customers, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Carry out daily tasks as set by the Group Parts Manager.

The Role

The main purpose of a Management Graduate is to assist in growing our existing business by promoting Vospers broad product and offering service to the regional car parts industry. Your primary aim is to develop and enhance our Parts business through its Retail, Trade and Internal Operations. Must have a good eye for detail and have the required financial acumen to be able to fulfil the post.

Key Responsibilities

• To work with our parts management team to develop your skills within the business unit.
• This will involve you working in each section of the parts business to get a good understanding of how all areas operate and function.
• You will be asked at the end of each section for normally a 3-month period. to put your ideas and findings and solutions to your reporting group manager along with your Group Director.
• You will need to grasp the sales & marketing functions of the business as well as to understand the financial performance of the division.
• You will attend weekly and monthly Sales, Marketing, Inventory & financial meetings.
• The job will involve meeting regular stake holders in the business, including customers, suppliers, Manufacturers, Internal.
• Carry out all daily tasks as set out by the Group Parts Manager

Qualifications

• Need a clean driving License
