Team Overview:

In the UK, Accenture collaborates with many leading firms in the wealth management sector. Rapid regulatory changes, evolving investor expectations, and technological innovations significantly impact these firms' business and operational models. Our unique position at the intersection of business and technology makes us a trusted partner for investment and wealth managers' critical business and technology investments.

As a Senior Manager in our Wealth Management practice, your days will be varied and engaging. Typical responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering successful consulting engagements to address pressing client challenges and creating lasting value, including:
  • Defining and implementing C-suite strategic agendas
  • Developing emerging products and services
  • Organizational redesign and operating model transformation
  • Artificial intelligence initiatives
  • Core systems transformation
  • Cost efficiency improvements
  • Enhancing enterprise agility
  • Driving business development and sales efforts, partnering with leaders, clients, and colleagues to leverage Accenture's strengths
  • Solving complex, ambiguous business, change, and technology problems with structured analysis and decisive action
  • Building trusted relationships with clients and internal teams in a dynamic environment
  • Supporting practice development through mentoring, recruiting, and developing offerings
  • Leading the creation of thought leadership assets to enhance market presence
  • Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Wealth Management consulting experience, either from a recognized consulting firm or in-house within a large Wealth Management organization
    • Deep expertise across Private Wealth, including client segmentation, regulatory environments, product architecture, and distribution models
    • Strong consulting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with familiarity in recognized frameworks and techniques
    • Knowledge of key industry trends, regulation, and client needs
    • Proven ability to build relationships with senior executives
    • Experience in operating model design and technology platforms (e.g., Aladdin Wealth, InvestCloud, FNZ, IRESS, Avaloq)
    • Innovative thinking and understanding of how digital solutions can address business challenges
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in challenging environments
    • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with a track record of leading large meetings and workshops
    • Strong project management and team leadership capabilities
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a record of sales origination

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience in Wealth Management or related consulting roles
    • Deep industry knowledge and ability to develop new sales opportunities
    • Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff
    • Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
