Job summary

Cherry Professional Ltd is supporting a fast-growing PE-backed group by recruiting two Management Accountants for the finance function in a hybrid role at NG9. The positions offer £45,000–£50,000 base salary plus a 10% bonus and benefits.

The role operates at group level, handling month-end, accruals, journals and balance sheet ownership, with exposure to multiple entities. You will coach junior staff and assist with acquisitions and integrations.

• Comfortable in change-heavy environments.

• Full monthly management accounts production (end-to-end).

A fast-growing, private equity-backed group is hiring two experienced Management Accountants to strengthen the finance function during a busy acquisition phase. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys pace, change and building robust processes across multiple entities.

The role

You’ll operate at group level, supporting month‑end and improving consistency and control across a growing portfolio of subsidiaries. Key responsibilities include:

• Full monthly management accounts production (end‑to‑end)
• Accruals, prepayments and journals
• Month‑end close and balance sheet ownership
• Budgeting/forecasting support
• Finance business partnering with operational stakeholders
• Supporting newly acquired businesses with finance integration and “clean‑up”
• Coaching / supporting junior finance team members

What we’re looking for

• Strong practical management accounting experience
• Confident producing management accounts independently
• Comfortable working across multiple entities in a change‑heavy environment
• Qualified, part‑qualified or qualified by experience all considered

Systems / environment

Exposure to Sage Intacct and Xero would be useful, but isn’t essential if your fundamentals are strong.

Working pattern & travel

Hybrid working with a current preference of 3 days office / 2 days home. Some UK travel (ad hoc occasional) to support local teams/sites.
