Octopus Energy Generation (OEGEN) is seeking a Management Accountant to join the Funds Finance team. You will be responsible for the quality of management accounts at asset level and for coordinating external accounting outputs across a growing portfolio of renewable assets with international presence.

The role demands strong UK GAAP knowledge, consolidation ability, and the ability to manage external auditors and budgets.

Competenze

• Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with UK GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with consolidations and investment entity accounting.
• Experience with renewable energy assets and subsidy schemes preferable.
• Understanding of CIR and other tax rules advantageous.
• Ability to manage audits and stakeholder communication.

Mansioni

• Review management accounts provided by external accountants.
• Report on portfolio financial performance at monthly stakeholder meetings.
• Ensure financial information and commentary in investor reports.
• Handle finance-related queries and drive timely solutions.
• Budget with commercial asset managers and monitor costs.
• Assist quarterly valuations and onboarding of new investments.
• Support audits of underlying assets and financial statements.
