Trafalgar Entertainment is seeking a Management Accountant: Productions in Woking to join the Production Finance team. You will take the lead on delivering timely production accounts, track production budgets, expenditure and commitments, and support month-end processes including cashflow and SPV reporting.

The Management Accountant: Productions plays a key part in the effective functioning of the Production Finance team in providing support to the Productions department.
The role takes the lead on the delivery of timely and accurate production accounts in order to track the performance of productions and assist with internal decision-making. Through this, the Management Accountant: Productions forms a close relationship with the General Managers and has a detailed knowledge of production budgets, expenditure and financial commitments.
The role contributes to the month-end process including production fee income and other in-month movements. The role also contributes to the maintenance of consolidated cashflow forecasts through their detailed working knowledge of the productions they are responsible for.
The role also contributes to statutory accounts and audit including the SPVs and group level.
The Management Accountant: Productions performs other tasks required to ensure the productions meet their financial commitments including royalty calculations and payment, investor returns and petty cash/ payment card management.
The Management Accountant: Productions will complete other tasks as directed by the Senior Finance Manager: Productions and the Head of Production Finance in order to facilitate the smooth running of the Production Finance department and meet the needs of relevant stakeholder needs. This will involve providing holiday cover as necessary.
You will be a part-qualified accountant with experience of production accounting. You will have excellent attention to detail and a technical knowledge of how production accounts operate. You will be able to form strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders, working with them to produce clear and accurate information.
You will have experience of working with financial software and Microsoft Excel on a day-to-day basis and will be comfortable learning new systems and ways of working. You will contribute to projects regarding process improvements, considering different perspectives.
You will have the ability to report to senor stakeholders, providing a clear picture of progress and conclusions.
