Job summary

The Production Factory in Manchester is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in the Manchester office. You will handle data input accuracy, assist with monthly cost tracking, and support the management accountant with day-to-day financial tasks.

This office-based role requires strong organisational and numerical skills, with a collaborative approach to processing supplier invoices and data across our accounting platforms.

ROLE OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our worldwide creative production agency to join our finance team as an Accounts Assistant in our Manchester Offices. We are a worldwide creative production agency with offices in London, New York, Miami, Mallorca and Manchester; working with leading brands across all forms of print, digital and film media. We have experienced significant growth over the last 18 months and are looking forward to continued growth making it an excellent time to join the business

Please note: due to the nature of our business, this role is office-based 5 days per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews data to ensure accuracy of data input and prioritises projects in order of importance, in line with month-end close.
• Track cost expenditure on production projects and chase outstanding expenses with both producer and supplier.
• Manages the daily import of data from DEXT to 3rd party accounting systems, ensuring cost codes are correctly allocated as approved by production teams.
• Update various data including financial information, account detail and customer information on both DEXT and 3rd Party billing systems.
• Flag & communicate any discrepancies to producer and accounts team.
• Interacts with suppliers, producers and accounts team regarding data input
• Assists in any adhoc tasks as and when needed

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent typing skills and proficiency in learning to navigate various online accounting software.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Proficient literacy and numeracy skills
• Work to strict weekly deadlines.
