Job Description:

Management Accountant

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the success of our business divisions, including HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Security, IT, and Fleet. Every team member contributes to the lasting impact we make, helping keep the nation's digital infrastructure connected and protected.

This role involves working closely with business and senior finance stakeholders to develop financial forecasts, deliver accurate reporting, and analyze financial results to support decision-making. It also includes providing analysis of actual and forecasted results for projects and assisting senior finance leaders in meeting financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide clear analysis for effective decision-making.
• Assist in developing forecasts, measuring, and reporting on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Prepare historic analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons to forecasts/budgets.
• Manage 2 direct reports.
• Ensure area reviews for projects are conducted, working with operations to report contracts accurately, scrutinize financial results, and challenge the business.

Who you are:

A detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
• Previous experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems.
