Management Accountant - London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the success of our business divisions, including HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Security, IT, and Fleet. Every team member contributes to our lasting impact and helps keep the nation's critical digital infrastructure connected and protected.

This role collaborates within a fast-paced technology organization, working closely with business and senior finance stakeholders to develop financial forecasts. It involves delivering timely, accurate, and transparent reporting and analysis of financial results to support decision-making. The role also includes providing clear insights into actual and forecasted results for projects and assisting senior finance leaders in achieving financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with senior finance to provide analysis that enables effective business decisions.
2. Assist in developing forecasts, and report on cash, P&L, and balance sheet progress.
3. Prepare historical analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and variance comparisons.
4. Manage 2 direct reports.
5. Ensure project reviews are conducted, contracts are accurately reported, and financial results are scrutinized and challenged.

Candidate Profile:

This role suits a detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

1. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
2. Experience in a business-facing finance role.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Proficient in Excel.
5. Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
