Management Accountant - London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the continued success of our business divisions, including HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and Commercial, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Corporate Security, IT, and Fleet. Every team member contributes to the lasting impact we make, helping keep the nation's critical digital infrastructures connected and protected.

This role involves working closely with the business and senior finance stakeholders to support financial forecasts, delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, and providing analysis to support decision-making. It also includes assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to meet financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide analysis for effective decision-making.
• Assist in developing forecasts and measuring/reporting on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Prepare historical analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons to forecasts/budgets.
• Manage 2 direct reports.
• Conduct area reviews for projects, working with operations to ensure accurate contract reporting and financial results scrutiny.

Who you are:

A detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
• Experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems.
