Job summary

You will own monthly management accounts across a portfolio of group businesses, performing accruals, journals and balance sheet reconciliations, while partnering with operational leaders to drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA with practical management accounting and month-end experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts across a portfolio of group businesses.
• Handle accruals, prepayments and journals.
• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
• Review P&L and balance sheet performance; perform budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Provide meaningful commentary on performance and identify drivers of variances.
• Work with operational managers to understand business performance and commercial impact.
