Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a finance professional to produce timely financial information, support budget setting, and contribute to cost analyses for a defined portfolio of services. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, clear communication with budget holders, and supporting value-for-money initiatives within an NHS framework.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or equivalent experience.

• Ability to analyse financial and non-financial data.

Essential criteria

• AAT Qualified or equivalent experience

• Experience of working in an NHS or similar organisation
• Experience/exposure to Financial Management & Budgets
• Experience of working with financial systems and processes
• Demonstrate experience in the analysis and assessment of financial and non-financial data

• Excellent communication skills including presentation and summary of data into meaningful information for nonfinance managers and colleagues
• Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and financial systems
• Effective problem-solving skills, especially for new issues where no precedent to follow
