Job summary

Pure 4 Recruitment's client, a fast-growing international business, is seeking a Management Accountant to own monthly management accounts and support financial reporting across several entities.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will drive month-end close, perform variance analysis, and deliver insightful commentary to guide commercial decisions. The role suits a proactive finance professional in a dynamic SME, with ERP and e-commerce exposure.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or newly qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts from start to finish.
• Strong month-end experience including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Good understanding of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting.
• Experience working with multiple revenue streams within an e-commerce environment.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Lookups.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Able to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience working within an SME or multi-entity business.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
• Produce supporting commentary and variance analysis.
• Manage the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process foreign currency transactions and revaluations across multiple entities.
• Produce ad hoc financial reports for senior management.
• Maintain and improve month-end reporting processes and reporting packs.
