Vertu SKODA Darlington is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join our team. You''ll produce management accounts for the Skoda, Seat and Cupra franchises, work with forecasts, payroll, accruals and cashflow, and support business decision-making with robust financial data.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant
• Motor trade experience and Kerridge knowledge preferred but not essential
• Strong communication skills with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Excellent numerical and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Producing management accounts for Skoda as well as Seat/Cupra franchises
• Forecasts and estimates
• Payroll processing
• Accruals and prepayments
• Cashflow management
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconciling manufacturer bonuses
• Creating spreadsheets and statistical reports for the management team
• Coaching and developing colleagues within the finance team
