Job summary

Service Care Solutions are working with a highly reputable accountancy firm in Derby seeking a qualified Management Accountant with 2–5 years' PQE within an accountancy practice to join their growing finance team. You will prepare monthly management accounts across multiple group companies, oversee month-end processes, VAT returns, budgets and cash flow, and produce board packs.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with 2–5 years' PQE in practice.
• Strong experience preparing management accounts.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient with accounting systems; CCH experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple group companies.
• Oversee month-end processes, WIP adjustments and financial reporting.
• Prepare VAT returns, budgets, cash flow forecasts and year-end accounts.
• Produce board packs and weekly performance reports.
• Support bookkeeping activities and mentor junior team members.
