Job summary

Green Cat Renewables Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant to oversee the accounting operations for two group businesses. The role is primarily based in the Biggar office with regular time in Glasgow, reporting to the Group Financial Controller.

You will lead month-end, oversee management accounts, support board reporting and cash-flow, and ensure intercompany reconciliations. Payroll/CIS experience and knowledge of AccountsIQ/QuickBooks/Sage are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage deadlines across multiple businesses.
• Right to work in the UK, full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end process across GCR and GCC.
• Oversee GCR’s monthly management accounts and review inputs.
• Support quarterly board reporting and cash-flow reporting.
• Ensure intercompany transactions are reconciled.
• Review finance team work and resolve routine queries.
• Oversee payroll processes and CIS returns.
• Support year-end accounts and auditor queries.
• Work with Group Financial Controller to implement consistent controls.
