RG Consultancy are delighted to partner with a manufacturing business in Burnley to recruit an Assistant Accountant. You will report to the Management Accountant and maintain accurate financial records while assisting with monthly management accounts and month end.

The role offers scope for development with study support for the right candidate, and a supportive, hands-on team environment in a busy finance function.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience of month-end processes
• Experience supporting management accounts
• Accurate balance sheet reconciliations
• KPI reporting experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Month end KPI reporting
• Accruals and prepayments
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Support more junior team
• Project work and ad hoc reporting as required
