Management Accountant - London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the continued success of our business divisions, including HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and Commercial, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Corporate Security, IT, and Fleet. Every team member contributes to the lasting impact we make, helping keep the nation's critical digital infrastructures connected and protected.

This role involves working closely with the business and senior finance stakeholders to develop financial forecasts, deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, and analyze financial results to support decision-making. It also includes providing clear analysis of actual and forecasted results for projects and assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to meet financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide analysis that enables effective decision-making.
• Assist with the development and reporting of financial forecasts across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Prepare historic analysis by project, including month-end results and KPIs, comparing actuals to forecasts and budgets.
• Manage 2 direct reports.
• Conduct area reviews for projects, working with operations to ensure accurate contract reporting, financial result scrutiny, and business challenge.

Who you are:

A detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
• Previous experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems.
