Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Management Accountant for a Crawley-based role. You will prepare monthly management accounts, assist budgeting and forecasting, and provide variance analysis to support business decisions.

You'll oversee reconciliations, support year-end audits, maintain robust controls, and deliver insightful financial reporting while working a hybrid pattern: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
• Good communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis.
• Support the year-end audit process and liaise with auditors.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
• Oversee reconciliations, including bank accounts and balance sheets.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
